PG Banshee Norn Review

This is a review of PG Banshee Norn.

The whole body. Most of it is reused from the PG Unicorn, but the antenna, collar, and Armed Armor XC on the backpack are new.

The face. The antennae are new, but everything else is the same as the Unicorn. The antennae are still magnetic, so they close without any gaps.

The visor is a clear part, and the gold parts of the mask and antenna are all pre-painted.

Each part, etc. The collar is a new design, but the rest is the same as the Unicorn. This gold is also painted.

The cockpit can still be opened and closed, and inside is the same scale Liddy.

Waist.

Arms and legs. This is also exactly the same. However, some of the frames on the shoulders and upper arms have been newly designed, so they are less likely to come off compared to the Unicorn.

The backpack is Armed Armor XC.

Optional. The joint on the bottom right is a bonus part for attaching the Armed Armor DE to the Full Armor Unicorn.

Beam Magnum. Since it is a Norn, it is equipped with a new revolving launcher at the tip. The EN pack attachment and detachment gimmick is the same.

It can also be equipped with a Beam Jet by replacing the parts. It also comes with a beam blade.

It can still be mounted on the arm, and the revolving launcher is also removable.

The spare EN pack and revolving launcher can be mounted on the waist.

Armed Armor DE. This one is also new except for the internal shield.

Back side. The joints are fixed by clamping them into the holes on both sides of the arms. The weight has increased significantly, but the attachment was solid.

The gimmick that opens at the tip and the muzzle are also faithfully reproduced.

The Armed Armor DE can be equipped on the back. In this state, the user is instructed to use the stand.

It can also be turned into a regular backpack using the included parts.

The same stand as the Unicorn is included, and the LED unit can also be installed.

The darkened version. The exterior is a dark color, so unlike the Unicorn, only the part of the frame that is visible glows.

The head visor glows red.

The rest of the LEDs emit yellow light. The LED emits blue light just like the Unicorn’s, but the clear parts are used to recreate the color from the movie.

Next is Destroy Mode. The transformation method is the same as Unicorn, with the only difference being the two types of armed armor.

The face. Like the Unicorn, the shape is refined and sharpened by the sharp edges that are only possible with a large scale.

The antennae have also become larger, making it even more impressive.

Each part, etc. Although the color has changed, the shape of the Psychoframe is the same.

Waist.

The arms and legs. Just like the unicorn, the parts are tightly fitted together, so it’s quite difficult to deploy.

The Armed Armor XC is also open. It’s easy to deploy, just open it and rotate it.

The other side.

The XC has two joints, allowing you to freely adjust the direction and angle.

The Armed Armor DE is also deployed. This one also simply requires pulling out and opening the parts.

Back side.

It can be equipped on the back even in the deployed state. In Destroy Mode, the stability is reduced, so a stand is essential.

When illuminated with LEDs, the orange light is very beautiful and different from the unicorn.

In this state, only the eyes glow red.

Upper body. The structure hasn’t changed, so the glowing parts are the same.

The lower body. Even though it’s the same design, the impression is very different when the body color and frame are changed.

Next is the third form, Destroy Unchained.

This one doesn’t have any new parts, so it’s the same as the Unicorn, with the back of the head.

Upper chest and front armor,

Backpacks, rear armor, and more are also available.

The increased exposure of the Psychoframe makes the luminous area even larger.

There is no MG Norn, so I have the Metacon awakened Norn and HG. Just like with the Unicorn, there is a huge size difference.

Both are Unchained and have the same PG as Unicorn.

Turn down the lights. The Unicorn is flashier in terms of the Psychoframe and exterior colors. But the Banshee has a more refined feel to it.

By the way, the left is the Unicorn, and the right is the Banshee’s shoulder instruction manual. The Unicorn uses POM and PC on both shoulders, while the Banshee uses POM on both sides only on the left to improve strength. The shoulder and upper arm frames are also newly sculpted, so the strength of the shoulders and arms has been significantly improved.

Just a few at a time.

The construction of the main body has not changed, so its movement is the same as the Unicorn.

However, even though its strength has increased, the Armed Armor DE is large and heavy, so I cannot move my left arm very freely.

Transform into Destroy Mode. You can also hold it firmly at an angle that puts less strain on the joints.

Like the Unicorn, it can be held in both hands. DE restricts arm movement, so it’s easier to wear it on your back.

Shield defense. The Armed Armor DE doesn’t emit light and the clear parts are dark in color, so it’s a bit plain.

Beam Jutte deployment. This too can only be maintained at a certain angle.

Next up is Unchained.

In this state, neither hand is holding a weapon, so the improvements to the joints are clearly evident and it is easier to move than the unicorn.

Also, like the Unicorn, DE cannot be equipped on the arms, but can be equipped on the back.

He attaches a DE to his back and uses the Unicorn’s saber blade to create four swords.

This is a review of the PG Banshee Norn.

Most of the parts are taken from the Unicorn, and only the antenna, collar, armored armor, and some joints have been changed.
However, the silhouette of the Unicorn was changed by the two types of armored armors, and the coloring was different, and the color of the light when using the LED unit was also different.
Personally, I don’t think we need any more variations, but if you like the Unicorn, you can display the Banshee Norn next to the Unicorn and make it glow at the same time, so I recommend this one as well.
