HG Hyakuren Review

This is a review of HG Hyakuren.

The whole body. Unlike the thin Yuri, this one is very massive. The coloring is also excellent, and other than the small yellow one, it’s almost perfect.

The face. It doesn’t have the monstrous look of Hyakuri’s, but the eyes and color make it instantly recognizable as an enemy MS.

The eyes are stickers, but the rest are color-coded. Unfortunately, there is a clear dividing line right down the middle.

Each part, etc. The torso is also thick and wide, giving it a massive shape. The shape of the abdomen and exposed frame are similar to Yuri.

Around the waist. Unlike Yuri, she has sturdy armor on the sides.

The arms, legs, shoulders, thighs, and other limbs are quite voluminous. Here too, the knees, shoes, and other details are color-coded.

The parts on the back of the waist are movable.

The shoulder armor can also be opened to move it more than vertically, and the hips can swing quite a bit. The knees also move quite well, despite their appearance.

The shoulders can also be pulled forward. The hip joints are a bit of a pain because the armor comes off if they are opened too far. The contact with the ground was quite good.

Fully equipped.

Rifle cannon. No gimmicks or anything. The magazine is fixed.

A single-edged blade. Normally kept in a sheath at the waist.

Removed state.

The lower part of the side armor can also be removed and used as a knuckle guard.

Back side.

When lined up next to Yuri, her body shape is very different, but there are some commonalities, such as her abdomen. Note that this frame only has some joints.

Just a few at a time.

It’s not possible to hold it properly as there are no palms, but the shoulders can be extended quite a bit so it is possible to hold it with both hands.

There is armor around the hip joints, so there are limitations compared to Hyakuri, but she can still lift her leg quite a bit.

Blade equipment.

The handle and grip are the perfect size so they don’t rotate or slip, but the glove part comes off easily.

The ground contact is quite high, so you can plant your feet firmly even with your legs spread wide.

Equipped with side armor knuckle guards.

It seems like a last resort weapon, but it’s a mystery how it will be used.

However, due to the design, the roll of the upper arms was limited to about 30 degrees.

The coloring is cool and the color separation is excellent, and although the division of the head was a little regrettable, it was finished to a high degree of perfection at a low price.
The shoulder and hip joints are well thought out and move well, although there is some interference due to the design, and the waist turns so it is easy to pose her in a fighting pose.
The design and armament are unique, and I look forward to seeing them in action in the play.
