HGCE Freedom Gundam Custom Kit (Monthly Hobby Japan October 2015 issue supplement) Review

This is a review of the HGCE Freedom Gundam Custom Kit (supplement to the October 2015 issue of Monthly Hobby Japan).

Set contents: This is a custom kit for HGCE Freedom, and as usual, it has one runner and is molded in white only.

Attach each part to make the Freedom Gundam Flame Fader. This time, not only the head and weapons are included, but also chest and shoulder parts.

behind.

New head. This is included as a whole and can be used in place of the regular head.

Although the shapes of the face and ducts are similar, the shapes of the antennae and sides of the head are different, giving the impression that they are almost completely different.

The regular Freedom with just the head.

The new head is made up of five parts, and the shape of the connection parts for the antenna, helmet, face, etc. are the same as Freedom’s,

You can also combine it with that. However, it was not possible to attach the Freedom mask to the eyes and chin of this mask.

Each part, etc. The chest part is replaced by removing the original red and navy blue upper part.

The shoulders are attached by removing the small red parts at the top. The fin bits at the bottom simply plug into the duct.

The Finbit can be selected with or without the blade adjuster.

It is possible to mount various blades for the Fader Tonfur. You can also attach all three types, including the shoulder parts.

The main weapon, the Fader Tonfur, can be held normally. It is shaped to fit the elbow, so if you extend your arm, you can hold it close to the body.

The blade is movable and can be deployed forward like the GN Sword 3. The blade can also be rotated as it is connected via an axis.

The grip is also movable, so you can move it to your side or other position.

There are three types of blades to choose from: the basic thick type, a thin type, anda curved type.

The beam blade included with Freedom can be attached to the holes on the rear and muzzle.

The two units can also be combined by pulling out the rear pin.

Two of them can be combined to create a larger weapon.

The pin for combining is 3mm and is the same as the blade shaft, so it can also be used to mount it on the shoulder.

As shown in the sample, you can also have it held in Petit’gguy’s hand.

The shape of the chest and shoulders change a little, but there is no interference, so there is no change in movement. The blades are replaced and a beam blade is also installed. However, the tonfa is located behind the arm, so it was easy to interfere with the wings. It was replaced with a curved blade. As it is a special weapon, the thickness of the handle was perfect.

Connect them together and attach the saber blade.

It’s quite bulky, but so far I’ve had no problem holding it with one hand.

shooting.

If you attach all the blades to the shoulders and hold tonfas in both hands to transform it into a Hi-MAT Full Burst, it will be called FF Full Burst.

It’s a mystery how this affects the power, but the three blades coming out of the shoulder are quite distinctive.

One for Petit Guy, too.

This is a review of the HGCE Freedom Gundam Custom Kit (attached to the October 2015 issue of Monthly Hobby Japan).

It is a custom kit with white molding color, which is common in this kind of magazine supplement, and although the color is plain as it is, the modeling is precise and the entire head is attached, which is quite gorgeous.
The weapon is a ton fur, rather than the large sword that has often been used in the past, which is unusual, and there are many parts to attach to the main body, making it possible to create a very different form from the original Freedom.
Even if you don’t use it on the Freedom, the ton fur has pins and holes and seems to be highly versatile, so it is highly recommended for those who like this type of weapon set.
