HGBF Kamiki Burning Gundam Review

HGBF Kamiki Burning Gundam

This is a review of HGBF Kamiki Burning Gundam.

The whole body. It’s similar to Build and Try Burning because they’re from the same family, but everything is new except for the joints. Overall it’s more showy than the previous two figures.

Face. The face itself, such as the eye color, is similar to previous versions, but the shape of the antennae and sides of the head has changed, giving it a completely different impression.

The red on the forehead is color-coded, so the only stickers are for the eyes and main camera.

Each part, etc. The color scheme and the clear parts on the chest are similar to Try Burning, but the design has been completely redesigned to create a sharper form.

Around the waist. This area has also changed significantly, with the front armor designed to resemble the belt of a karate uniform. The gray is clearly color-coded.

The arms and legs. These parts are similar in some ways, such as the blue clear parts, but they are almost completely different and have more red, making them more flashy. The black lines are stickers.

The shoulders are asymmetrical. The character for “God” on the left shoulder is reproduced with a sticker. A spare one was also included.

My back. I also have a new backpack.

Equipped with a sword on his waist.

The sheath can also be removed.

The handle and blade are pure white and have no stickers.

Optional parts. The wrists, effects, and joints are the same as those of Build and Try Burning.

In addition, there was a new effect for Kamiki Burning. However, there was no red clear body this time.

This is the state with the special effects added this time. It has a halo like the God Gundam.

The base of the rings and straight parts are movable, so the shape can be changed to some extent.

Punch effects,

Kick effects,

The rear effects are the same as before.

Like the previous two, the clear parts react to black light.

Build and Try Burning. This time, the proportion of red has increased, making it a lot more flashy.

Although it is hard to see in the photo, the shoulder joint is new and has a dowel that narrows the hole, making it less likely to come out than the previous two figures.

A subtle difference.

Just a few at a time.

The joints are the same as the previous two Burning types, so the basic movement remains largely unchanged.

Tornado kick. The protrusion of the upper chest that was present in Build and Try has disappeared, so the movement of lifting the shoulders has been further improved.

However, a plate-like part that wasn’t included in the Build and Try version was added to the abdomen, so the forward bending range is narrower.

Add new effects.

This time the clear parts of the body remain the same so there aren’t many changes.

On the other hand, there is no need to worry about it falling off.

Depending on the movement, the effect and the sheath may interfere with each other.

Drawing the sword. The sword is plain white.

As before, the shoulders can be pulled forward along with the chest, so you can easily hold it with both hands with your arms extended.

The sword of Star Winning is depicted with a white blade. It comes with a palm with the fingers aligned, allowing for a perfect reproduction.

Punch Leopard Da Vinci.

With three teammates.

This was a review of the HGBF Kamiki Burning Gundam, ending with the Houou Haouken using the Mythology EX effect.

The majority of the parts are newly sculpted, so the unique design of Kamiki Burning, which differs from that of Build and Tri, has been reproduced exactly, with plenty of clear parts and almost perfect color separation, except for the black lines.
The joint mechanisms of the Build and Try kits have been diverted to specialize in action, so it moves very well, and although there is no gimmick to replace the clear body parts this time, the effects are new and previous ones are also included, so it was perfect in terms of playability.
I thought that the BFT kits had come to an end, but now that Super Fumina will also be released as a regular Gunpla, I have high expectations for that as well.
