P-Bandai: MG 1/100 RX-78FRGMT Gundam

To commemorate the 45th anniversary of the Gundam series, a special collaboration between Mobile Suit Gundam and fragment, the design project led by Hiroshi Fujiwara, has been revealed. This limited-edition model, officially named RX-78FRGMT Gundam, brings a sleek and modern take on the classic RX-78-2 Gundam.

The MG 1/100 RX-78FRGMT Gundam will be available via lottery sales on the official Japanese Premium Bandai website, starting February 17, 2025. Winners will be notified in March 2025.

This kit was first sold at the exclusive grand launch event of the collaboration, which took place at the concept store VA in Omotesando, Tokyo, from February 1 to February 24, 2025. The event showcased the fusion of Gundam and fragment aesthetics.

This special edition kit features a dark gray color scheme, reflecting the signature aesthetics of fragment. Additionally, it includes newly molded shield parts, replacing the EFSF cross with the iconic lightning FRGMT symbol, further emphasizing the collaboration’s unique design.
