METAL BUILD GN ARMS TYPE-D OPTION SET Review

This is a review of the METAL BUILD GN Arms TYPE-D option set.

Set contents: The two large parts are the twin rifle unit and the missile container unit, as well as a sensor unit and various joints.

Auxiliary stand set is also included.

Dynames equipped with a twin rifle unit and missile container unit.

The back. There is no problem with it standing on its own, but both units are made of die-cast and are quite heavy, so unless the angle is right, it is difficult to lift it without assistance.

Twin rifle unit. This is equipped using the multi-connector on the arm. The barrel is very long, and when not deployed, the length from front to back is about 34cm.

The barrel is long, but as you’d expect from a Metal Build, the details and markings are precise and it doesn’t feel sloppy.

The barrel can be folded. The photo shows only one side folded.

The barrel can also be removed from the shield unit.

It was also possible to use a rifle connector to hold just the barrel.

It is also possible to connect only the barrels using a joint.

You can also use the rifle folding holder to fix the folded barrel, attach the arm multi-connector, and equip it to your arm. There is a noticeable square hole on the underside of the rifle, but these holes on each part can be hidden with a cover.

The holes in the rifle folding holder can also be used to attach Type-F GN Hand Missiles, etc.

The shield unit’s inner arms can be deployed.

In addition, the top, bottom, left and right parts can be expanded to create arms.

The claw at the tip can be used to attach the Dynames’ GN beam pistol, and holes in various parts can hold pistols or a Type F GN beam rifle.

Next is the missile container unit. This is also equipped using the multi-connector on the arm.

Each missile hatch can be deployed.

Top side.

The missile container unit folds up,

It can also be attached to the back of the waist of a Dynames after removing the rear armor.

Landing gear is also stored at the rear, and when deployed it allows for stable, self-supporting motion.

In addition, by using the included special joint, you can attach it to Device Exia,

It was also possible to attach it to the Astraea 2.

In addition, the folded missile container can be equipped to the arm using the arm connector.

Next, we equipped it with a rifle. In this case, we adjusted the arm of the shield unit to make it a tripod using a tripod support.

A sensor unit is attached to the extended barrel rifle,

It is connected to a tripod-shaped shield unit using a rifle arm.

Dynames is equipped with a folded rifle on its left shoulder.

Place the combined rifle and shield to complete the simultaneous equipment state.

If you hold the rifle like that, you can also pose for long-range sniping.

The sensor unit is made of clear parts for a precise finish, and the side scope and antenna are movable.

Next, connect the GN Sefer unit to the container. Here, connect the drive joint of the GN Arms to the back of the Dynames.

Combine the Sefer unit with the missile container to

Connect it to the back of Dynames and it’s complete.

Next, combine with GN Arms. Here, the Dynames with only the Sefer unit attached is connected to GN Arms. Connect the twin rifle unit and missile container unit to both sides of the GN Arms to complete it.

Instead of the TYPE-E’s large sword unit, it is equipped with a rifle and missiles.

From the side. The length from front to back is about 58cm, and it still has a tremendous volume.

Even in this state, the rifle can be folded and the missile hatch can be deployed.

Next is the GN Arms TYPE-E + TYPE-D combined mode. This is like a support mecha without a pilot.

This is completed by removing the Dynames body from the combined state, adding a sensor unit to the Sefer unit, a rifle to the hole to the left of the GN cannon and to the right of the arm joint, and removing the right side of the GN cannon and attaching a missile container.

Side view. The wings can be removed, so it’s more compact than the combined Dynames.

Just a few at a time.

Even without GN Arms, this weapon set can be enjoyed as a Dynames weapon set.

Both are quite heavy, so a support stand was necessary if you wanted to pose them while floating them.

Separate the life and equip it in both hands.

Although it differs from the actual product as it does not have a GN capacitor, it is possible to equip it with a look similar to a high altitude sniper rifle.

Sniper position.

It can be firmly fixed in place with a tripod-like shield and a missile unit on the back of the waist, so it is stable even without assistance.

GN Arms TYPE-E + TYPE-D combined mode.

The asymmetrical design is unique and looks pretty cool even in this state.

GN Arms TYPE-D with Dynames on board.

From behind.

If GN Arms TYPE-D had been released on its own, I wouldn’t have bought it, so I’m glad it’s available in optional format like this one.

This was a review of the METAL BUILD GN Arms TYPE-D option set.

As expected, it seems that they didn’t release a complete set of GN Arms TYPE-D again, and this time it was released as a TYPE-D option set that includes a twin rifle unit and a missile container unit that can be attached to the left and right sides of the previous GN Arms.
The impact when combined with GN Arms is still as amazing as ever, and the asymmetrical artillery equipment and missile hatches can be deployed, so the appearance is quite different from TYPE-E, which makes it fresh. Also, even if you don’t combine it with GN Arms and use it as an armament for Dynames, it can be equipped with equipment that looks similar to the high-altitude sniper rifle in the movie, so it has high play value and was an interesting option set with a lot of thought put into it.
Equipment that looks similar to a high-altitude sniper rifle has also been released, and it feels like they’ve already done everything they can with Dynames, so it’s been about three years since Repair III, and I’d like to see Curios released soon.
