HGUC 1/144 HG Psycho Gundam Mk-II: Massive 1/144 Scale Model Kit from Mobile Suit Z Gundam

The MRX-010 Psycho Gundam Mk-II, a transformable mobile armor from Mobile Suit Z Gundam and Mobile Suit Gundam ZZ, joins the HG lineup as the largest and final main mobile suit from the series. Standing approximately 270mm tall, this 1/144 scale kit features a detailed color scheme achieved through parts division and a completely new mold. Piloted by Titans’ Rosamia Badam and later Neo Zeon’s Ple Two, it boasts advanced psycommu and psycho-control systems, allowing Newtype or Cyber Newtype pilots to control it with their thoughts.

This massive kit transforms seamlessly into Mobile Fortress mode without part-swapping, replicating its anime design. It includes three Scattering Mega Beam Cannons, finger-mounted Beam Cannons, skull-installed Small Mega Beam Cannons, and 20 Mega Beam Cannons across its torso for omnidirectional attacks. The forearms feature Wired Psycommu Beam Swords, wire-guided for precision, while Reflector Bits deflect enemy fire and redirect its own beams. A detachable head unit, similar to the MSN-02 Zeong, allows independent operation if the main body is destroyed. The kit also includes a half-destroyed head part for recreating iconic scenes, plus an Action Base 4 and Weapon Display Base for dynamic displays.

Upgraded from the MRX-009 Psycho Gundam, the Psycho Gundam Mk-II integrates a Minovsky craft system for atmospheric flight and a more energy-efficient fusion reactor, enhancing its lethality despite lower power output. Developed by the Murasame Newtype Lab, it proved a formidable foe for the MSZ-006 Zeta Gundam and pilot Kamille Bidan during the Gryps Conflict. Later, Neo Zeon rebuilt it in U.C. 0088, with Cyber Newtype Ple Two piloting it until its destruction by the MSZ-010 ZZ Gundam post-Dublin Colony Drop.
