EXPO2025 ROBOT SPIRITS RX-78F00/E GUNDAM Review

The action figure brand THE ROBOT SPIRITS has released the RX-78F00/E GUNDAM, which will be exhibited at the GUNDAM NEXT FUTURE PAVILION at EXPO 2025 in Osaka, Kansai.

THE ROBOT SPIRITS series come pre-assembled, so they can be enjoyed right out of the package. The wide range of motion allows you to recreate the poses seen at the GUNDAM NEXT FUTURE PAVILION exhibit.

This is a review of the EXPO2025 ROBOTHON RX-78F00/E Gundam.

A Gundam partially reconstructed for display at the Osaka-Kansai All-Nighter using Yokohama’s RX-78F00. The joints and such are useful, but most of the sculpt is new, reproducing the unique design with panels on each side. Face. The head is almost identical to RX-78F00, but the occipital bump is missing, so it’s new. The shapes of the parts are slightly different from the anime, such as the shorter antennae and smaller eyes, but the basic design is the familiar RX-78-2. The eyes are always painted the same metallic color. The details such as the balkans and ducts are also carefully painted in each part. The fuselage is almost the same as RX-78F00, but the sensors on the upper left and right are missing, so it is new. The color of the blue is brighter than RX-78F00, and the markings are slightly different. Waistline. This is a new sculpt because a large panel is being woven into the front armor. The panels were all clear parts for the whole body. Arms and legs. All new sculpting around here as well. There were panels on the shoulder armor, waist, and more, and the sculpt was full of detail and precision.

That concludes our review of EXPO2025 ROBOT Soul RX-78F00/E Gundam.

This Osaka World Expo Gundam is a recycled version of Yokohama’s RX-78F00, but it is almost newly sculpted, the panels of each characteristic part are reproduced with clear parts, and the props are generally well made according to the image.
Articulation is also good throughout, with drawer-type shoulders and hip joints, and the weaponry is the same as the Yokohama Gundam, but it’s on display in its original armor, so I don’t have any complaints.
On the Gunpla side, it looks like the Glass Feather with large wings will also be released at the same time, and I wonder if ROBOT Soul will sell it as a free van later, like Fukuokaν’s option.
